CSI was engaged by Fulton Hogan to undertake Pile Integrity Testing of 12 piles.
CSI was engaged by Fulton Hogan to undertake pile integrity testing of 12 piles. These piles were designed 1800mm nominal diameter, drilled and poured using a temporary sleeve and ranged in length between 22 and 23 meters long. The intention of Pile Integrity Testing (PIT) (see our services page) is to ensure that the piles have no major defects in place throughout the length of the pile.
The CSI PIT low strain integrity test was used to assess the condition of the cast-in-place piles.
CSI worked with Fulton Hogan and the client ensuring that our work was undertaken in a safe manner and ensuring that our work was efficiently scheduled into the construction programme, CSI carried out site testing over two half days and provided a final report within 7 days of testing.
The PIT enabled Fulton Hogan to continue with progress in construction and demonstrate the quality of their construction. This is the Testimonial provided by Fulton Hogan’s Rhys Collins
”Engaging CSI to conduct the Pile Integrity Testing on the large 1.8m diameter piles was a wise choice. Their technicians were knowledgeable, approachable, punctual, health and safety conscious and flexible when we encountered late changes to the works programme. Results were delivered in a timely and well-presented manner. A pleasure to work with.”
